Porgy and Bess' Audra McDonald Duets with Stephen Colbert on The Colbert Report

Porgy and Bess star Audra McDonald dropped by The Colbert Report on March 5 to chat with TV funnyman Stephen Colbert. During the interview, McDonald and Colbert (who performed together at the 2011 Kennedy Center Honors) discussed the opera's rich history, while Colbert noticed a few similarities between himself and McDonald's "liquor guzzling slut" character, Bess. After their chat McDonald delivered a rendition of the show's signature tune "Summertime" with Colbert, who co-starred in the New York Philharmonic concert of Company last year, even showing off his vocal chops by joining!
